Overview of the CYG Process

Evaluation: At CYG we first analyze your current benefits, plan designs, cost drivers, employee contributions, compliance, and administration compared to current trends. Then review your current plan funding method and review advantages and disadvantages of available alternative plan options. In addition, we’ll use benchmarking and surveys to evaluate your programs against your peers to help you stay ahead of your competitors.

Design: After the discovery and evaluation phase, we review the original client objectives and formulate a summary of conclusions with supporting facts and documentation, our goal is to design a benefits program based on your specific objectives and needs. We first analyze and negotiate all renewals; once the proposals are received from the bidding carriers we develop and present alternative plan designs and provisions with associated financial and member impact analysis.

Implementation: After your management team makes the decision on the Employee Benefits package for the upcoming year; we discuss and define the implementation and Open Enrollment process. As your employee benefits partner we provide support in the creation of open enrollment materials, employee meetings to introduce the plans, ongoing new hire guides, and any additional communication materials necessary to ensure a smooth implementation. CYG will also show your employees the value of their health and welfare program in the “Hidden Paycheck”.

Monitoring: Camden York Group, Inc. is dedicated to continuous day-to-day service. We can also assist in resolving escalated claims issues, carrier data entry, bill reconciliation, and preparation of a signature ready form 5500 and Summary Annual Report. In order to provide you with the most up to date information we have a network of resources in place which keeps us informed of the legislative landscape in regards to employee benefits; this way your plans will always be in compliance.
